Morgan Undergoes Second Clio Test At Oulton Park

Alex enjoyed his second taste of Clio Cup machinery at Oulton Park International today alongside former Intersteps racer James Nutbrown. The test day started off wet which was Alex's first experience of wet driving in the front wheel drive tin tops. As the day progressed, the track dried to give Alex a valuable day of wet and dry testing. Alex was quick to adapt to the track conditions and was able to settle in and produce fast times from the start of the day. Alex said:

I thoroughly enjoyed today as it was my first go in a Clio in the wet. I was fortunate to experience a wet, inter and dry track which has been great for progressing my understanding of the car and the way it handles. I felt comfortable in all the conditions today and especially enjoyed pushing the car in the dry at the end of the day as the full Oulton Park circuit is a brilliant track with some challenging high speed corners. I feel a lot more prepared now for the upcoming official test at Brands Hatch GP as I now have some experience in all types of conditions.

Alex's next outing will be at the final round of the Clio Cup Championship in the official Friday test. He will be amongst the season regulars and will have the opportunity to test himself against the series best drivers.
