Morgan Signs With Pyro

Alex Morgan has signed with multiple Clio Cup Championship winning team Pyro for the 2013 season after completing a strong winter testing programme. Pyro have announced a five driver lineup which it hopes will enable them to keep hold of the driver and team championships it won in 2012. Morgan's team-mates include former Clio Cup race winner Josh Files, series regular Simon Belcher and newcomers Ash Hand and James Nutbrown. Despite having been away from the sport for almost four and a half years, Morgan is confident that he can make a good start to the season at the opening round at Brands Hatch. Morgan commented:

Its been great getting back out on track and despite being away for so long, I feel like I have made the transition from single seaters to tin tops quickly. I am confident I can start where I left off and challenge at the front especially with Pyro's experience and knowledge of the Clio Cup car. I can't wait for the season to begin and can't say how grateful I am to have the opportunity to race again which has only become a reality with the help of MDA Renewables. It's going to be a long and entertaining season and I am looking forward to testing myself against the other drivers.
